Christopher Lane started Chris Lane Music in 2009 in Las Vegas, the entertainment capital of the world. He produced a Top 40 - Live Karaoke show at Kahunaville inside of Treasure Island. The show included multiple costume changes, multi media screens and augmented musical tracks. The room was packed every night and the innovative and progressive approach won Christopher's first production a Best Las Vegas Lounge Band Award in 2010. Chris Lane Music also inked a 10-year deal to produce a show in Shenyang, China, which has been running for 6 years and still going strong. In addition to supplying 5 star hotels and clubs bands in Jakarta, Indonesia, Bahrain, UAE, Seoul, South Korea and around the world Chris is also a partner in the world’s only KC and The Sunshine Band tribute act based out of Los Angeles and selling out showrooms across America.

From the exotic nightclubs of Bangkok, to a presidential benefit in Abuja, Nigeria to the re-born Vegas strip, Guitarist Christopher Lane has entertained audiences worldwide.

With his love for the guitar influenced by the tunes of jazz-great Wes Montgomery, Chris brings amazing passion, depth and skill to every performance whether he’s playing his favorite style Nu-Jazz, or the diverse music of his childhood -- Rock, R&B and Blues.

Chris along with his two brothers are third generation musicians and spent their early years on stage listening to their dad perform with his band. Chris and his brothers then formed their own group – the Little Lanes – and created quite a buzz as they wowed audiences across Champaign, IL. Their talent opened the door for them to open for many popular acts including Enchantment and Sister Sledge.

In the mid 80’s, Funk-legend Bootsy Collins signed younger brother Michael to a production deal. A record contract with CBS and a top 10 rated R&B hit “Instant Replay” followed. Chris joined his brother Michael on tour, performing with some of music’s best – Thelma Houston, Regina Belle, Stacy Lattisaw, Troop, Michael Cooper, Da’Krash, LeVert, Donna Allen, The Bar-Kays - and also performed on MTV’s Spring Break Concert series.

Chris’ music then led him to Asia where he performed in Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong and Taiwan. A gig at Leo Grotto in Bangkok ignited the nightclub scene there, sparking the opening of copycat clubs looking for the same success.

In 1997 Chris formed the “Chris Lane Band” and opened for the Nagoya Castle Hotel’s Christmas show featuring famous Japanese artists Seiko Matsuda and V6.

Chris also performed at Tokyo Dome in concert with Diana King, Clementine, Janet Kay, DeDe, Swing out Sister, Morning Musume and Tanpopo, in Africa with hip hop princess Ashanti for an AIDS benefit, and toured Hawaii with Kahoru Kohirumaki. While in Japan Chris did the usual nightclub, hotel and wedding circuit. Co-starred in a popular television commercial (Biodias medicine) that ran for 8 years in the Nagoya area.

In 1998 he started a short run CD duplication company, opened a graphic design company and formed the record label, “Trans Urban” (though he has since returned to the States “Trans Urban” still produces acts for his company as well as others).

In 2005, a return to the states reunited Chris with his brother Michael and landed him a coveted position with one of Vegas’ most popular lounge acts, Purple Reign. The group was voted “most popular local act” out of dozens of other contenders.

In 2008 Chris the produced an award winning band Atomic Milkshake. Chris has also worked as the Music Director for a local Las Vegas church and has
appeared in multiple commercials and PSA’s for CBS television in 2012 and 2013.

In 2010 Chris was the guitarist on top 20 hit, “Where you Are”. The second single from pioneering hip hop group “Cali Swag District” featuring an archive Motown recording of Michael Jackson's original vocal taken from ”I Wanna be Where You Are”. And works as assistant mixer on 2 feature film as well as forming a tribute band to KC and The Sunshine Band.
